In August 2017, I started my sabbatical. This was a dream come true having the fantastic opportunity to travel through several countries without time pressure. For this year, I chose South America (plus Yucatan, Belize and Guatemala) well aware that I’ll be traveling through regions where an ethical diet is a bit harder to keep up. But it’s part of the the challenge to find vegan treasures in these meat-loving countries. So I started this blog…and visited 136 restaurants in five countries!
